This reading bent lamp is manufactured from meranti wood. This wood essence was chosen because of its red-brownish finish darkening to a dark red, with warm accents which can be easily integrated into any office, bedroom or study room. The grain of this wood can be straight or interlocked with a coarse and low natural luster.
The meranti tree is native from East Asia and brings with it the essence of the Asian culture. The wood’s glow was given by carefully sanding and coating with a transparent Italian lacquer to give the durability and glow to the finish and for making it very easy to clean and maintain. Because of the unicity of the wood grain, two custom lamps cannot be exactly the same, but the design can be reproduced for more than one lamp.
