The wood used to manufacture this table lamp was black walnut, native from North America. The heartwood ranges from a lighter pale brown to a dark chocolate brown. This wood has a stunning direct and semi-ring grain with lovely dim darker and violet shades in certain light. The mix of the curves of the lamp base with the points from the lamp shade puts forth a solid statement in any room.
